How many people worked on DarkAgeofLight with you?

The story, designs, 3D, compositing, and editing work is all mine.
The audio was done by an external studio - MCM Recording

What software did you use for DarkAgeofLight?
A.
I used Lightwave3D for all main 3D work, and Adobe AfterEffects
for Compositing.

What did you use for lip-synch?
A.
I used a combination of Magpie & Morph Gismo.

Maya, 3DS-Max, Flame, Digital-Fusion, Shake

How long have you been working on DarkAgeofLight?
A.
I have been developing the story for about ten years. I started
developing the 3D look and coming up with initial models as soon
as I started working in 3D.

How long did the 11.5 min short-film take to produce.
A.
From finishing the first draft of the script to the final edit
took 18 months, working after hours.

Are you already working on a second episode?
A.
Yes. There will soon be a preview online on this site. If you
send me an email I'll include you on the updates email list!

How does the second episode differ from the first.
A.
A. It's about twice as long, with more characters, vehicles, and
environments. It will have more of an emphasis on action, and
will also reveal much more of the overall story.

Has the film screened in festivals?
A.
Yes. It screened in various festivals in Australia, including
the Melbourne International Film Festival 2002, The Sci-Fi Film
festival 2002, The ATOM awards 2002, and the Revelation Film Festival
2002. The film also screened at Anima Mundi in Rio de Janeiro
in 2002.

Is there a larger format version of the film available at the
moment?
A.
Unfortunately not at the moment. As soon as a full resolution
version is available I will let you know if you are on the email
